This color combo has always been a hot topic – not only for its rich and dramatic look – but because black and blue are synonymous with black and brown in the fashion rule book - it has long been considered a “no-no” of colors to coordinate.   But this years trend-setters are rebelling against the rules and creating a fresh and modern reputation for the colors.  From prints to colorblocking to solid layered pieces, it's been seen everywhere and in assorted styles:
